The Rubi SLAB CUTTER G3 rail cutting system for large formats enables precise cuts in tiles and porcelain stoneware
The guides are made of sturdy aluminium and the weight of the system is perfect for easy handling. The newly developed cutting guide prevents the scoring carriage from unintentionally slipping out of the guides - this enables perfect cutting results to be achieved with large-format tiles. The handy quick-release fasteners optimally join the individual rails together as a complete cutting system so that the scoring carriage glides smoothly through the guide.
Each SLAB CUTTER cutting system has 3 guide rails of 110 cm each, which enable materials of up to 3.20 metres to be cut.
Two suction cups are integrated in each guide rail for fastening. These suction cups are made of special rubber, which leaves no marks on the surface of the tiles.
ADVANTAGE:
The integrated suction cups underneath the cutting rail ensure that the rail remains stable when the guide carriage is under load.
(External suction cups sometimes tend to lift the rail during the scoring process)
The aluminium scoring carriage is easy to handle and has a high scoring capacity. Its movement through the guides is smooth and precise thanks to the three horizontal bearings. The "soft grip" handle offers ergonomics and comfort for the user.
The carriage of the SLAB CUTTER is equipped with a Ø 22 mm EXTREME cutting wheel, which is suitable for processing materials with rough and textured surfaces, but also for materials with smooth or polished surfaces.
Each Slab Cutter consists of three guides, the scoring carriage and a SLAB nipper, which can be used to cut materials up to 10 mm thick
The SLAB pliers have a dual function: pliers for materials up to 6 mm thick and clamping screw for materials up to 10 mm. The design and dual function of the SLAB pliers enable cutting with minimum effort for the user.
To complete the equipment and to facilitate transport and storage, the SLAB CUTTER includes a practical textile bag that is reinforced and equipped with internal compartments for storing and securing all components of the SLAB CUTTER.
