Note: Due to the high density of the ceramic discs, diamond discs generally have the problem that resharpening of the segments during the cutting process is not always guaranteed. A disc can lose its initial cutting speed after 10 - 20 cuts. By using a diamond sharpening stone (sand-lime brick is not sufficient), the user can get the disc sharp again. For materials up to 3 cm thick, it may be advisable to make step cuts (2 x 1.5 cm cutting depth).
