Original cutting wheels for Rubi tile cutters of the TS Max, TR Magnet and SPEED Magnet models
Thanks to the wide range of cutting wheel holders and cutting wheels, tilers can adapt and improve the properties of all their tile cutters to suit the current range of ceramic materials.
The cutting wheels are available in different diameters and are suitable for all common tiles, so that optimum cutting performance can be achieved with each one.
In addition to the different diameters and models that RUBI makes available to professionals, there are also two versions: GOLD and EXTREME. The GOLD version cutting wheels have a titanium carbide coating that increases their performance by 30% compared to conventional cutting wheels. The EXTREME version, which is only available for the 22 mm cutting wheels with PLUS shank, offers the same advantages as the GOLD version, but with a ball bearing that makes scoring easier and enables a better cut in ceramic materials with rough or textured surfaces.
EXTREME cutting wheel:
For the most difficult ceramic materials, RUBI offers professionals the EXTREME cutting wheels. EXTREME cutting wheels are made of high quality tungsten carbide with a special titanium carbide coating. Thanks to this coating, RUBI EXTREME cutting wheels wear less during use. In addition, as the EXTREME cutting wheels are mounted on a ball bearing, the friction between the wheel and the shaft is completely eliminated. This combination allows the EXTREME cutting wheel to perform much better, offering a smooth cut and a 300% longer service life compared to SILVER cutting wheels under the same conditions of use.
The EXTREME range of cutting wheels is specially designed and recommended for cutting ceramic materials with smooth and structured surfaces (textures or reliefs). The EXTREME cutting wheels are compatible with the RUBI TS-MAX, TR-MAGNET and SPEED-MAGNET tile cutters with a 10 mm hole and with the TZ and TX-MAX ranges with a 12 mm hole. In addition, the RUBI EXTREME cutting wheel is compatible with the TQ, TP-T and TP-S manual cutting machines and with the SLIM CUTTER manual large format cutting system from the SLAB SYSTEM range.
ENDURE cutting wheels:
RUBI ENDURE cutting wheels are made from high-quality carbide. Its uniform grinding guarantees an exact and precise cutting angle in all units. Thanks to their careful and sophisticated design, RUBI ENDURE cutting wheels are ideal for achieving excellent cuts in ceramic tiles with a high degree of cutting difficulty, especially for all those ceramic materials with rough and/or textured surfaces (reliefs and structures).
The RUBI ENDURE cutting wheel holder has a triple groove (developed and patented by RUBI) that guarantees the user a correct assembly of the roller in the manual cutter. Likewise, this geometry, exclusive to RUBI, ensures a firm fixation of the cutting wheel and a homogeneous and vibration-free cut.
The ENDURE cutting wheels are compatible with all RUBI tile cutters and can be found by the user for both 10 mm tile cutters (TS-MAX, TR-MAGNET, SPEED-MAGNET, STAR, etc.) and 12 mm tile cutters (TZ and TX-MAX).
GOLD cutting wheels:
Most of the ceramic materials used for surfacing in the past have cut smooth, minimally roughened glazes and finishes. With the advent of non-slip materials or rustic tiles (especially for outdoor use), the roughness of the ceramic increased. To minimise the effects of this roughness, RUBI has developed the GOLD range.
The recommended application of RUBI GOLD cutting wheels is in the scoring of glazed stoneware (BIIa / BIb), rustic or extruded stoneware (AIIa / AIb) and porcelain stoneware (BIa) with smooth and/or not very rough surfaces. The cutting wheels of the GOLD range have an increased wear resistance of the carbide due to a titanium coating. Thanks to this treatment, RUBI GOLD cutting wheels offer a longer life than SILVER cutting wheels, up to 50% with the same stress.
RUBI GOLD use a holder with a triple grooved geometry (RUBI design and patent) that guarantees correct mounting on the manual cutting machine at all times, as well as firm fixing and vibration-free cutting.
SILVER cutting wheels:
RUBI's silver cutting wheels are made of sintered tungsten carbide. Each cutting wheel is individually ground so that each diameter has a cutting angle according to its function and use, andthe high wear resistance of RUBI carbide cutting wheels guarantees the professional a long life and high quality end results. For the correct functioning of SILVER cutting wheels, cutting must always be continuous and uniform, without excessive pressure or unnecessary transitions. Adjusting the diameter and the way of cutting with each type of material always guarantees the best results.
The cutting wheels are mainly designed to work with ceramic materials with a glazed or natural surface with a smooth and/or slightly rough surface.

The SILVER cutting wheels are available in two formats, which allows them to be adapted to the entire range of RUBI hand cutting machines. They are compatible with the following ranges of cutting machines: TR-MAGNET, TS-MAX, SPEED-MAGNET, SPEED-N, FAST, STAR-MAX, STAR, POCKET and PRACTIC.
